ZANZIBAR EXPEDITION – 3 NIGHTS & 4 DAYS, BUS ITINERARY
Zanzibar, the spicy island in more ways than one.

DAY 1:
We depart from Moshi at 7:00 am for our bus ride to Dar-es-Salaam where we arrive at 2:30 pm. The bus stops for a 20 minute lunch break, and they offer local food.

From Dar, we then take the Zanzibar Express Ferry. Upon arrival on the island, we check in at the lodge in Stone Town.

At night, we take a walk around Stone Town, where you can choose from the wide selection of restaurants for dinner.

DAY 2:
After breakfast, we drive to Nungwi beach (90 minutes). This is the place to be in Zanzibar! You can swim, dive, snorkel or just relax on the white sand admiring the scenery.

After the beach, we will spend the night at Nungwi.

DAY 3:
After breakfast, we ride back to Stone Town.

In Stone Town, we can wander around the narrow streets of this ancient part of Zanzibar, visit the museums, the Old Slave market or go to the shopping center.

After lunch, we begin the spice tour, where we visit the vanilla, clove, cinnamon, & other spices plantations.

After the spice tour we have dinner and relax in town.

DAY 4:
We take the Zanzibar Express Ferry at 7:00 am, and have our breakfast in Dar es Salam before taking the bus back to Moshi. Arrival time is late afternoon.
