ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK: DAY TRIP

We will depart from Moshi at 7:00 am to travel towards Arusha National Park and we will arrive around 9:00 am to begin our full day game drive.

In the morning, we will explore the Arusha rain forest and admire the few remaining East African black and white Colobus Monkeys, some giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and baboons and we will have a clear view of mount Meru.

We will have a picnic in the park for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive along the lakes looking for flamingoes and hippos on the banks of the lakes.

We get out of the park around 4:00pm and we should arrive in Moshi around 6:30pm.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK: DAY TRIP

We will depart from Moshi at 7:00 am to travel towards Tarangire National Park and we will arrive around 10:00 am. We have a picnic in the Park and then we have an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River, looking for elephants among the baobab trees, we will also encounter giraffes, gazelles, Blue monkeys and wonderful birds.

We will get out of the park around 3:00pm then begin our journey back to Moshi around 3:30pm. We should arrive in Moshi around 6:30pm.


LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK: DAY TRIP

We will depart from Moshi at 7:00 am to travel towards Lake Manyara National Park and we will arrive around 11:00am. Manyara Park offers us a chance to observe elephants, monkeys, giraffes, tree climbing lions and several varieties of birds.

After lunch, we have another afternoon game drive along the lake admiring flamingoes, hippos and different species of plants.

We will get out of the park at 4:00 pm to travel back to Moshi.


Sample 2 1/2 day safari itinerary: LAKE MANYARA & NGORONGORO

DAY 1: We will depart from Moshi at 1:30 pm on Friday to travel towards Lake Manyara National Park, and will arrive at the luxurious Twiga Campsite around 5:00 pm. Before supper, we will drive you to a scenic viewpoint of Lake Manyara, and the wall of the Great Rift Valley. We then return to Twiga campsite, where you go for a swim in the pool or have a drink in the lounge while our locally renowned chef prepares one of his special meals.

DAY 2 : We will depart from Twiga campsite at 7:00 am to travel towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will arrive at the top of the crater around 9:00 am and begin our descent, all the while admiring the scenery the 8th wonder of the world has to offer. We will have a full day game drive, discovering and observing the wildlife, and our experienced guides will explain their behavior.
The lunch break will take place by Ngoitokitoki Spring, a prime bird watching spot, especially in flamingo season. We will exit the crater around 4:00 pm to return to Twiga campsite for dinner and an evening of traditional dancing.

DAY 3: We will depart from Twiga campsite at 7:00 am and head towards Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. We will admire the Great Rift Valley and its hot springs, home to tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, olive baboons and various birds, before a lunch break.
The journey back to Moshi begins around 2:00 pm, with a 6:30 pm arrival time.

Sample 3 day safari itinerary:
LAKE MANYARA, NGORONGORO, AND TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARKS

DAY 1: We will depart from Moshi at 8:30 am to travel towards Tarangire National Park and will arrive around 1:00 pm. After a picnic in the park we will have an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire river, observing the elephants among the baobab trees. We then head towards the luxurious Twiga campsite for a swim in the pool or a drink in the lounge while our chef prepares one of his special meals.

DAY 2: After breakfast, we will depart from Twiga campsite at 7:00 am to travel towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and will arrive at the top of the Crater around 9:00 am. From here we begin our descent into the Crater, and we will have a full day game drive exploring the 8th wonder of the world. We will have a scenic lunch by Ngoitokitoki Spring, admiring the birds around us (flamingo season is the best). We will continue our game drive in the afternoon, exiting the Crater around 4:00 pm to go back to Twiga campsite, for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 3: After breakfast, we will depart from Twiga campsite at 7:00 am for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. We get a peek at elephants, monkeys, giraffes the tree climbing lions and a few birds before lunchtime. Then we begin our journey back to Moshi around 2:00 pm and should arrive around 6:30 pm.

Sample 3 day safari itinerary:
NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA & SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1: We will depart from Moshi at 8:30 am to travel towards Serengeti National Park. We have a picnic stop for lunch at the Twiga campsite, then proceed to our campsite for the night in the middle of Serengeti National Park. From the moment we enter the park, you will get to see many animals while heading to the campsite. We should arrive around 4 pm, which will give you time to rest while we will set up the camp and prepare dinner for you.
An early bedtime is highly recommended because, for optimal wildlife viewing, we must leave the camp before sunrise the next morning.

DAY 2: We will depart from Serengeti campsite at 6:00 am for our morning game drive, when we can see hippos on their way to a wading pool at sunrise, as well as other animals traveling to their grazing areas. We will head back to camp for breakfast around 10:00am.
After breakfast, we go back to another game drive until lunch time, around 1:30 pm. After lunch, we continue our game drive, until dinner time. We then have our dinner at the camp and spend the night under the beautiful stars of the Serengeti.

DAY 3: Breakfast will be served at 7:00 am and we will depart from Serengeti campsite at 8:00 am for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will arrive at the top of the Crater around 11:00 am.
A lunch box will be served to you for lunch, on the shore of Ngoitokitoki spring, where you must be wary of the birds who might try to steal your lunch if you wander around. After lunch we will have a 4 hour game drive exploring the 8th wonder of the world. We exit the Crater around 3:00 pm to travel back to Moshi, and should arrive around 7:00 pm.
